Razor Full-face Youth Helmet

Razor Full Face Youth Helmet at Amazon

There’s no more prominent downer than hurting yourself while doing something fun. Luckily, you may stay safe and still have a blast on your Razor scooter or electric motorcycle by getting the right gear and following a few safety suggestions.

No matter your scootering level, it’s critical to wear the right safety equipment, whether you’re enduring the crashes of learning – or the crashes of freestyling. Razor Aggressive Helmets have a multi-impact liner for hardcore, multi-sport riders. The adaptable Razor Full-Face Helmet for Razor Quads & MX Dirt Bikes is designed distinctively for Razor Dirt Quad, Razor MX350, MX500, MX650 or Razor Pocket Rocket riders ages 8-14. It’s to the full or entire extent padded for a comfortable, customized fit and screened and vented for mouth protection. The vented Razor V17 Helmet is for usual riders ages 8-14 while the cute, colorful Pink Toddler Helmet and Blue Toddler Helmet provide shelter for the littlest riders.

Knees and elbows need cushioning too, and Razor has outstanding sets to keep ‘em covered like the Razor Helmet and Knee/Elbow Pad Set and the Razor PRO Helmet & Elbow/Knee Pad Set.

For safer riding, here are a few suggestions:

Read the manual: Always read your Razor Scooter and Razor Electric Motorcycle owner’s manuals carefully, exceptionally parents whose children will be riding.

Parental Supervision Required: Children underneath eight riding scooters must be supervised at all times. An electric scooter that may go 10 or even 15 mph doesn’t seem very fast until you see your child screaming down a hill out of control.

No Night Riding: Scooters and electric motorcycles ought to only be ridden for the duration of daylight. Not only is it hard for the rider to see but it’s hard for automobiles and other traffic to see you at night as well. Even in the daytime, riders will have to wear bright or reflective costume to be as visible as possible.

Cover up: Long sleeved shirts and long pants are best for shelter from injury for the duration of spills. Tie shoelaces to keep them from dangling and getting caught. Keep your hands on the handlebars and your feet on the deck at all times.

Follow the rules of the road: Like bicycle riding, there are rules that govern scootering. Check them out at your local DOT website. Kids ought to be familiarized with the basic rules of the road including proper hand signals and stopping at stop signs.

Know your limits: Kids love having fun and pushing the boundaries. After all, that’s what Razor Scooters are all in regards to – attempting the coolest tricks and expressing your individuality. Common sense, however, is the best rule of thumb when riding. If the trick or stunt looks too dangerous – it probably is.

Know your vehicle’s limits: Razor strives to be a leader and innovator, giving riders the best technology possible, but even Razors have limits. No matter how cool freestylers look doing gravity-defying tricks your Razor will carry out best and be the safest when you detect the rules of gravity and keep those wheels safely on the ground.

5Safety First
By 4mom
I purchased this helmet after my 9 year old had a bike accident and received a concussion. Sad, but he had grown out of his previous helmets, and I never got a bigger one. He wanted the chin protection, because his chin hurt very bad after the accident. We have several Razor products, but his accident was on the regular pedal bike. This helmet fits perfectly and he loves the look. Half the battle of getting a kid to wear the helmet is to get them to like it. My son likes it and wears it every time. Great purchase, if a little too late for me.

3Razor helmet….not nearly as nice as the bikes
By Lance Kuykendall
The razor helmet is very light weight and not very strong feeling……BUT thats coming from an adult with saftey in mind! That said, My kid LOVES it!!!! His is black and he wears it EVERY time he rides. Even when it’s 95 degrees out! He says it’s cool looking and i guess for the speed the razor bikes go….(18-21 mph) these helmets are fine.

5Great helmet, one size fits all !
By M. Hauser
My daughter (9) and son (6) can both wear this helmet with their Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike. My son loves the helmet because he no longer has to wear the baby one when he wants to ride his regular bicycle.
